Come and make merry at Chorus of Dissent’s fine festive feast of medieval to modern music by candlelight.
Sunday 16 December 2018, 5.30pm
St Matthias Church
This year’s concert will be an especially festive event, when we’ll be welcoming in our new baby (the grand piano), singing luscious Rachmaninov, and offering the world premiere of the Dissenters’ Carol, written specially for us by Lliam Paterson. Lyrics, unsurprisingly, by the amazing Cec Darker.
With special guest Father Christmas – and a surprise….
Entry is free, but you have to pay to get out. We suggest a £10 donation per person. Every penny is going towards the £70,000 needed to urgently repair the church electrics.
Cash bar. Doors open 5pm and seating is unreserved, so get there promptly.
