Personal data you give us
This is information about you that you give us by filling in forms on our website, or hard copy forms at a Dissenters event, or by corresponding with us by phone, email or in person. The information you give us may include your name, e-mail address and phone number.
How we use this data
If you sign up to our e-newsletter via our website, your first name, last name and email address will be collected and manually transferred to our email marketing system, MailChimp. This data is stored within the Dissenters’ MailChimp account in order to send email updates about forthcoming events, such as Chorus of Dissent performances, fundraising events and activities connected to Dissenters ArtsN16 charity. MailChimp may transfer personal data to its sub-processors where critical services are required such as preventing abuse. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time.
Email details of Chorus of Dissent choir members are held on a password-protected server or as password-protected emails. These details are used for communicating information about activities to the choir members.
Access to your data and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email or write to us at the address below. Requests will be granted within 30 days. We may make a small charge for this service. We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
