Watch this space for more details about the weekend as they come in, but in the meantime, here’s the very important story behind it.
Ruth’s great friend Liz Deeble died in 2018. She was a great fan of Chorus of Dissent and attended almost all of the concerts.
Liz left Ruth a small bequest in her will which she wanted to use to provide a lasting memorial to celebrate their long friendship. So she went out and bought a grand piano, using the legacy as the downpayment. Ruth Whitehead Associates has also sponsored part of the cost and now Chorus of Dissent is working together to raise the £3,000 outstanding – hopefully with your help!
Please come and support our event, have a good time, and raise a glass to Liz and enduring friendship.
