We’re pleased and proud to announce that our fundraiser concert Tubular Bells on 7th October, with Her Excellency the High Commissioner of Antigua and Barbuda Karen-Mae Hill as guest conductor, raised a total of £5000 for the Rebuild Barbuda Fund after the island was devastated by Storm Irma.
We do hope the High Commissioner will consent to perform with us again in the future, as we all absolutely loved the Hallelujah Chorus!
Says Antigua and Barbuda Minister Counsellor Althea Banahene: “We greatly appreciate your continued support and efforts in assisting the High Commission with the fundraising activities for the Rebuild Barbuda Appeal programme. The amount you have given has been tremendous. Thank you.”
